Executive Director for TTCF

Lutgard Kokulinda Kagaruki is Executive Director for Tanzania Tobacco Control Forum (TTCF), an NGO registered in 2005, with a mission to create an enabling environment, whereby tobacco control activists and other stakeholders can work together in a co-ordinated manner, to make a lasting impact in controlling and ending tobacco use in Tanzania.
Lutgard is past board member and secretary of the executive committee of the Framework Convention Alliance (FCA) and, current board member of the Tanzania Non Communicable Diseases Alliance (TANCDA). A recipient of the 2010 WHO World No Tobacco Day award, in recognition of outstanding contribution to tobacco control, Lutgard continues to work towards achieving a tobacco free Tanzania.
