Marion Hale works in Health Promotion in Tasmania, Australia. At the World Congress on Tobacco or Health 2012 Marion was elected Secretary of INWAT. and in 2015 was elected President.

Marion’s work supporting women spans 17 years and includes crisis support, counselling, and policy development. In 2012, Marion was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to visit programs that support women to become smoke free in pregnancy.  She is the Deputy Chair of Australian Women’s Health Network (AWHN) for 5 years and represented AWHN at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in 2010.Marion has recently taken up a position on the Psychology Board of Australia.
